Midterm Election Day is here
All 435 House seats and 35 of 100 Senate seats are on the ballot today, and Democrats hope to take both chambers from President Trump's Republican Party, Al Jazeera reports. The AP says voters are struggling with high prices and are angry over an unpopular war with Iran. The first polls close at 6:00 PM ET in parts of Indiana and Kentucky. Close races can take days to call, and mail-heavy California and Alaska often report late.
